2. Personal register

AURORALAW keeps a customer and marketing register.

3. Collected data and data processing

AURORALAW collects information to manage, plan and implement assignments and to target measures for each assignment. The customer register is also used to investigate possible obstacles when receiving an order. In addition to these, the customer register can be used for the planning and development of AURORALAW's business, informing about training events and marketing.

The collection of personal data is based on information provided by the client, information generated from visiting our website, contacts made using the contact form on our website, and information obtained from public sources and registers.

In order to find out the obstacles and maintain the obstacle register, customers must give AURORALAW their contact information.

AURORALAW's customer register stores the name and contact information of the office's current and former customers as well as potential customers and other contacts, personal identification numbers, business customer contact information, procedures performed, invoicing information, the title of the assignment and the customer's counterparties.

Any direct marketing bans given by the customer are also entered in the register.

4. Legal basis for processing personal data

The processing of personal data is based on the consent given in practice, the commission agreement concluded with the customer and the fulfillment of statutory obligations.

5. Disclosure of information

AURORALAW handles personal data as follows:

  • When it is necessary to handle the assignment and has been agreed upon with our client (for example, disclosure of information to the court dealing with your case, in connection with a letter of demand to be delivered to the other party, or to the insurance company dealing with your insurance benefit)

  • As a company, we also buy services from other companies, for example IT and accounting services. In these situations, the transfer of information to our partners may be necessary for the proper organization of our services. We have agreed with our service providers on appropriate data processing and compliance with data protection laws.

  • When it is necessary to exercise our rights (for example, the collection of our receivables) or the law otherwise requires it.

AURORALAW tries its best to ensure that personal data is not transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. Sometimes, however, this may be necessary to implement our services, for example to use different software.
